• A business letter of responsibility is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:
Consulate General of Vietnam, Visa Section, San Francisco.
The letter must explain all of the following:
-The nature of the business performed in Vietnam
-The name of the business reference to be visited
-Requesting visa validity required (6mos, 1-5-10 years)
-Guarantee sufficient financial support for the visit
-Guarantee return transportation to the USA The business letter should be signed by a company officer other than the applicant

The processing times do not include the day the required documents are received.
There is a charge of $20.00 each to obtain money orders for the consular fees.
